Julie Bull

Textile Artist/Designer/Tutor

After studying Surface Pattern/Textile Design at University of Central Lancashire, graduating in 2000, Julie qualified as an Adult Education Tutor with a PGCE in Art and Design from Bolton Institute in 2001.

Julie worked as a secondary school supply teacher and adult and community tutor for the local authority where she created highly successful and innovative AQA accredited classes until 2005 when she branched out on her own to set up a business providing craft workshops and supplies.

The business has since closed due to the economic climate leaving Julie time to concentrate full time on her own practice.

Julie has continued her art practice throughout and was asked by Starbucks in 2005 to create 2 textile installations for their flagship store at Preston.

Julie also creates and delivers workshops as an independent artist and undertakes commissions for private clients.
